QA Engineer - API Testing
Salary: £65,000 p/annum + benefits
Location: Fully Remote (All applicants must be prepared to travel to London 1 day p/month)
Are you a skilled QA professional with a passion for API testing? A client of mine in the London Market Insurance sector are currently looking to hire an experienced QA Engineer. As a valued member of their onshore development team, you'll play a crucial role in instilling confidence in API development and collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams.
Experience with API testing is crucial to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
* Forge strong collaborations with onshore and offshore development teams.
* Spearhead API development testing, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
* Demonstrate prowess in API testing, actively contributing to test design and creation.
* Implement cutting-edge automation for seamless testing processes.
* Showcase autonomy, confidence, and proactivity in your testing responsibilities.
Key Focus Areas:
* Provide unparalleled assurance and confidence in API development.
* Take the lead in independently identifying and addressing testing needs.

Requirements:
* Extensive background in API testing.
* Proven hands-on experience in designing and creating tests.
* Proficiency in test automation.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal and external teams.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet dynamic project requirements.
* Previous experience with London Market Insurance is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Soft skills, communication, and confidence are highly valued attributes.
