Oliver James is partnering with a leading company in the energy sector to look for their next SAP Functional Analyst !
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Analyst with expertise in SAP Embedded Analytics and a strong background in S4HANA migration. As a Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation and migration of SAP systems, specifically focusing on Embedded Analytics.

What will you do ?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP Embedded Analytics
- Analyze existing data models, reports, and dashboards to identify areas for improvement and optimization during S4HANA migration
- Design and develop data models, analytics solutions, and reporting functionalities using SAP Embedded Analytics tools
- Configure and customize SAP Embedded Analytics modules to align with business needs and migration requirements
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics solutions
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth data migration and integration processes
- Provide expert guidance and support to end users in utilizing SAP Embedded Analytics features and functionalities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP technologies, specifically related to Embedded Analytics and S4HANA migration
- Identify and address data quality issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and propose effective solutions
- Document functional specifications, user guides, and training materials for reference and knowledge sharing
Who are you ?
- Extensive experience as a Functional Analyst, with a focus on SAP Embedded Analytics and S4HANA migration
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules, particularly in the areas of Embedded Analytics, data modeling, and reporting
- Proven experience in designing and implementing analytics solutions using SAP Embedded Analytics tools
- In-depth understanding of S4HANA migration processes, data migration strategies, and best practices
- Proficiency in SAP HANA, SAP BW, and related analytics technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SAP certification in Embedded Analytics or related areas is a plus
