• Drive Security Governance: Oversee, measure, and enhance the maturity and effectiveness of security governance processes and controls.
• Provide Expert Insight: Maintain a thorough understanding of the SecurityOffice evolution, IT/digitalization context, and relevant security regulations (including DORA).
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with DPO, Legal, Business & IT Compliance, Risk, and Procurement teams.
• Ensure Compliance: Coordinate and support regulatory security compliance reviews and vendor risk management, including security assessments and contract security.
• Identify and Mitigate Risks: Spot gaps between regulatory expectations and our practices, propose, and lead risk mitigation initiatives.
• Communicate Effectively: Create clear presentations for management, outlining current security positions and ongoing improvements.
• Lead Proactively: Work independently and collaboratively, enhancing the security team's presence within the organization.

• Educational Background: Master's in computer science, technology, or a related field; security-related training is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in data protection roles.
• Certifications: Security or IT certifications are highly advantageous.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and proficient in one of Belgium's national languages (French/Dutch).
• Global Experience: Experience in a multinational setting is a plus.
• Leadership Abilities: Strong management skills and a genuine team spirit.
