I am supporting an established consultancy, who put a strong emphasis on a healthy work life balance, in their search for a 'Senior Actuarial Analyst,' & an 'Actuary.' For these roles you can be home based|remote with occasional travel to the client's sites or commute to your nearest office with locations including London, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Edinburgh and Belfast.
You will be working closely with a client team, to ensure delivery of solutions to their General Insurance portfolio of customers. The nature of their work means no two projects are ever alike and can include, London market (pricing / reserving/capital), Pricing, IFRS17, Capital Modelling and Reserving.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years' General Insurance experience for the Senior Analyst role and 4+ for the Actuary level. (This can be in Capital, Pricing or Reserving)
- Ideally experience within the London Market however, Personal and Commercial Lines backgrounds will be considered
- Experience with any of the following is beneficial - Emblem, Radar, Tyche, Remetrica, Igloo or Excel.
- Exam progress is great but my client will also consider those with no exam progress or those who have stopped exams part way
- Ability to communicate clearly - this is a role at a consultancy, there will be a fair amount of work that is considered 'front facing,' such as stakeholder engagement
