Senior Marine Broker required by highly successful marine insurance broker with a global presence, offering competitive package and long term career progression opportunities.
The role:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients in the marine insurance sector.
- Analyze insurance risks related to vessels, cargo, and other maritime activities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific insurance needs.
- Present tailored marine insurance solutions to clients, ensuring adequate coverage for risks.
- Negotiate marine insurance policies with insurance companies, securing the best terms for clients.
- Liaise with Claims Dept. to follow the claims settlement process.
- Maintain close collaboration with insurance companies and service providers to ensure efficient policy and claims management.
- Continuously monitor the marine insurance market, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a Marine Insurance Broker or Marine Underwriting position and keen to move into Broking
- Excellent knowledge of marine Hull and Machinery insurance
- Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and insurance companies.
- Degree qualified in relevant field
- A network of contacts in the marine insurance industry will be considered an advantage.
- Mandarin speaking ESSENTIAL
