As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Develop and implement best practices and standards for API development, integration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure API-driven solutions using AWS services.
- Ensure the integration of various systems and services through APIs, as well as the development of new APIs to support business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
- Analyze and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to establish CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing API-driven architectures, including knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficient in AWS services and technologies
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
