Job Title: Storage Engineer
Job Type: Full-time (80-100%)
Location: St. Gallen
I am working with a leading bank to support with their hiring for a Storage Engineer. In this role you will manage and engineer the central on-premise storage, backup, and file service infrastructure (SAN switches, Dell EMC, Netapp). Design, implement, and maintain new cloud storage and backup solutions, including the backup of SaaS solutions like O365.
You will also contribute to technical project work in storage, backup, and NAS domains. Providing 2nd/3rd level support and supporting colleagues.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in engineering and operating storage, backup, and SAN systems.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern solution approaches
- Fluent in English & German
This position is hybrid-working (3 days on-site/week) based in St. Gallen.
