This key hire will start as a contract and likely go perm in Q1 2024.
You will have the chance to join a leading regional Insurance client managing a live Solution and enhancement Day 2 Program for IFRS 17 regulatory reporting
Requiring a true IFRS 17 expert who can manage production environment fixes and enhancements to fine tune the IFR S17 solution and look to move into a IFRS 17 Lead role there after.
Key requirements:
*This role will have the strong chance to move to perm after Q1 2024
- IFRS 17 Technical Accountant
- Requires hands-on on design and Implementation experience for IFRS 17 over 2 or 3 years
- +10 years minimum experience
- Experience in mix of Big Four Consultancy and in-house insurance industry roles
- Project Management exposure:
- Manage simplified communication of technical issues and remedies
- EX CO / Regional Steer Co Update presentation
- Manage team to execute technical amendments
- Understanding IFRS 17 complexities
- Ideally Finance Systems and Data exposure:
- Excellent knowledge on IT & data work, E2E work flows for go live solution
-Tech exposure should include: Prophet, data flows, OneStream (consolidation), control-M and SAS (IFRS 17 engine and posting framework)Exposure to collaborating with tech team to build suitable solutions
- Manage workshops to ensure all teams collaborate harmoniously to remedy issues
